Terms of Service
Last updated: October 3, 2026
By creating an account or using DealerGuard (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
DealerGuard is a self-assessment tool that calculates an informational Security Score from your answers. It is not a certified security audit, penetration test, or legal-compliance certification.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act for the dealership you register.
3. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, attempt to access other dealerships' data, probe or disrupt the platform, reverse-engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.
4. Your data
You keep ownership of the information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Scores and recommendations are informational and do not guarantee protection against any threat, breach or incident. Acting on recommendations is your responsibility.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DealerGuard and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any data breach or security incident at your dealership, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
